Steelers vs. Bills Preseason 8/25/12

offensive line is getting blown back, secondary is getting eaten up by Fitzpatrick, I hope for the sake of those guys LeBeau just isn't showing much, because if this is how it's gonna be Peyton will torch them in the first game....very frustrated Steeler fan right now I would say more about the offense but they haven't had very good field position the entire game...so maybe thats why we're playing so conservatively. I did notice when LeBeau called a few blitzes the defense stopped them dead in their tracks. Sorry for the rant, guess I was expecting more in the third preseason game

WOW! What a catch by AB!

Looks like the Steelers have rebounded from a poor first half with an excellent drive in the last 1:36 of the 2nd quarter.

Would love to see the first stringers come out and play the first 2-3 drives of the 3rd and then let the others finish it up.

Well, other than the final drive, poor performance by the offense. Brown dropped 2 easy passes (although he made up for them later). Sanders dropped a long pass. Pass protection sucked. And DeCastro is injured. The four positives are that the line looked good run blocking, Redman looked good, Cotchery made some nice catches in traffic, and Brown shook off a couple drops to make some plays. All in all, before the final drive, the offense didn't look like it had any clue what it was doing. And they weren't helped by the Bills constantly pinning them deep in their own territory. Big news is the injury to DeCastro.

Defense looked OK. Woodley and Carter getting good pressure. Woodley could have had 2 INTs. Dropped an easy one. Had a chance at the second one. All in all, good performance from a vanilla defense.

HAHA. I thought the same thing. Seriously though, on the first one, he tried running before he had the ball. Second one was tougher, but he had a shot at it.

Forgot to mention .... couple nice pressures (including a big hit on Fitzpatrick) by Heyward in place of Da Beard.

Brown is a better receiver when he catches with one hand and pins the ball to his helmet.

Good play by Cortez Allen. He's had a good game.

well not all of us can live in a neighborhood that is close enough to Pittsburgh to get to watch the game without delay.

But then again those of us who live close enough to get the game without streaming, don't live 10 miles from the beach either
