So we all know that the Ravens have a love/hate relationship with the Pittsburgh Steelers. From the way they play hard hitting defensive football, hand out Terrible Towel ripoffs, admit to modeling their franchise after the Steeler way, and are completely obsessed with everything Steelers, they have built their entire existence around trying to be our franchise.
Today I'm driving home listening to sports talk radio in Baltimore and a Ravens commercial comes on touting Haloti Ngata. THe commercial blathers on about how he's "The Hangman" and beware of Haloti blah, blah, blah, but here's the best part. Playing in the background of the commercial for music is..... wait for it..... RENEGADE BY STYX!
Honestly, can't these purple clowns get their own damn identity? They want to be (and win against) the Steelers so bad it's embarrassing and borderline obsessive-compulsive.
I just thought I'd share that tidbit of "wait... what?!?" humor with you.

I'd like nothing more than for the Ravens to never use Styx ever.
They're just awful

After their third consecutive win against the Steelers, safety Ed Reed and several Ravens players were reportedly walking toward the visiting locker room singing "Renegade," the Steelers' adopted anthem by Styx, used to pump up their home crowd in crucial game moments.
I also saw a Tweet (from Kaboly or one of the other beat writers) that said a few of the Ravens players also were singing it on the sideline when it came on.

Besides, the Ravens are probably better suited with this as their theme song.
