| PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – One of the key Steelers to watch in the upcoming season will be cornerback Cortez Allen. The third-year player from The Citadel joins Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan’s Troy Clardy for a look at the upcoming season, and an update on how the organized team activities are going.
While many are questioning the Steelers’ ability to win big during a transition period, Allen feels good.
“I feel confident in our ability to compete,” Allen said. “The environment within the locker room has not changed as far as what we expect from each other. We still do have the key components in every phase of our team. We still have guys that helped us be the number one secondary in the league, and a lot of guys are still here who helped us be the number one defense. I’m very, very confident that we’ll do what we’re capable of doing when we put the work into it.”

| Why not? Next guy up right. Just reload and hit the ground running (with Bell). If Jones comes on early and Woodley is in shape we can be a contender. So far all the so called experts seem to be picking Cincy. That's good let them play us down. We like it that way. | |
