The Steelers have signed three players and put three on injured reserve as the fallout from their season-opening 16-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans Sunday continues.
Veteran kicker Shayne Graham was signed because Shaun Suisham has a hamstring injury that limited his kicking ability on Sunday. Graham will kick until Suisham's leg heals. The team also confirmed the news that they had signed halfback Jonathan Dwyer and center Fernando Velasco.
They placed center Maurkice Pouncey (torn ACL, MCL), linebacker Larry Foote (torn biceps) and halfback LaRod Stephens-Howling (torn ACL) on injured reserve. All will have surgery to repair their injuries and will not play again this season.
