Browns trade Trent Richardson to Colts

And that, my friends, is what separates teams like the Browns from teams like the Steelers.

Hell if I had known Richardson was on the market I would have pushed for the Steelers to go get him.

It is amazing how this trade has made people say "Enough!" and have started rooting for another team.

I'd take him maybe for a second round pick, but I wouldn't give up a first for him.

Some of my friends who are Browns fans are irate. Year after year they deal with disappointment, but this move seems to have struck a nerve like nothing has since the team left town. None of them are going to stop being Browns fans, but they're definitely deflated and pissed. Not at the loss of Richardson, per se, but at the meaning behind it ... rebuilding once again.

I heard something the other day on the radio that made me think how well Richardson fits in to the NFL. And it's the simple fact that just because he was good in college, doesn't mean he'll be good in the NFL.

And seriously, it makes me wonder if he's able to pick up the blocking schemes, routes, and run formations?

I can understand the browns fans being upset, but maybe the ownership got this one right. Only time will tell. How will the browns fans feel if this trade ends up being one of the best for their future?

I am still laughing at and enjoying the fall out from this.

Cleveland fielding offers for and open to trading WRs Josh Gordon and Greg Little. At least one team has made a quality offer for Gordon.
