| First and foremost, it's good to finally get a win. I'll reserve my Game Balls and Goats for later. Have at it. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |

| Game Balls
Clark and Timmons. They got the first and second turnovers of the season.
Heath. All he does is make plays.
Suisham. I now expect him to make kicks, rather than expect him to miss them.
Goats
Beachum. I really hope Levi works out, because Beachum wasn't much of an upgrade over Adams.
Haley. I liked some of the play calling, but they need to get away from the dependence on screens. Of the first six offensive plays, four of them were screens.
Brown. He certainly doesn't get a Goat for his entire play, but he gets one for dropping the touchdown pass. On the field, he should be held to the same standard that fans held Wallace to ... no drops, especially easy touchdowns when the offense has been struggling to score consistently.
-----------------------------
All in all it wasn't a pretty win, but a win is a win, especially for a team that desperately needed one. As a team, they looked improved, but they're still not where they need to be. Take a minute to celebrate the first win, and then get back to work. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |

| Beachum goat...ab's td drop was goatish...but ab made some great catches again and I would give the sole game ball to woodley. His pash rushing disrupted a ton of plays. _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!! | |

| I didn't want to start a thread for this and couldn't decide where to put it, so I'll just put it here ... - Quote :

Ben just glowing about Todd Haley right now. This is actually a little uncomfortable. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |
