| PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of 10 teams that will start their training camps on Thursday, according to a tweet this morning by Matt Pomeroy, manager of NFL Network research.
Later in the day, Pomeroy tweeted, "Based on new info, now looks like the earliest Training Camps will be allowed to open is Friday, July 29."
The Steelers have not confirmed the Twitter reports yet.
Management is expected to address camp details later today, if players vote to accept the owners' proposal for a new labor contract that would end the lengthy NFL lockout.
