| Steelers Promote Chickillo To Roster, Release Lyons
The Pittsburgh Steelers have promoted rookie outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo to the 53 man roster and released defensive end Cashaud Lyons, the team announced today. Chickillo, a sixth round pick from Miami (FL), initially made the 53 man roster before being cut the following day.

| Won't be shocked to see Grant back on the roster if they decide to put Cortez on IR(bad knee & looks to have fallen from depth chart)

Could be right. Todman and Wheaton can return kicks. I still think Chickillo is somebody that Porter will convert into an NFL OLB that is productive. Would rather see that here than on some other team. | |

| He could easily be inactive tonight. Just a move to keep him from signing with other teams that were interested. Maybe the Cardinals were going to sign another Steelers practice squad player. | |
