| Well crap.
When you read the article, it is slightly click bait. Bell is about 4 months post injury. Serious rehab doesn't start until 6 months.
And please, don't let this thread descend into the "trade Bell!" and "draft a RB first round!" postings...

| Eddie Lacy would have healed his knee immediately, and then he would have rushed for 400 yards the following week. The Steelers obviously should have drafted him. | |

| I think the steelers would pursue with caution when it comes to a long term deal. | |

| Cut Bell, Williams and go with Croissant.
Bring some Suddeness and Glide to the backfield
Should have drafted Eddy Lacy.

| Since we're being silly here's my thoughts. The guy could hardly stay on the field. He's not fast and what has he done for us lately? Hachsaw Reynolds played with a broken leg against us in the superbowl and Bell has a little knee sprain, what a puddin'. And DW is just as punny with his little foot problem. We need tough RB's like Ray Rice. Not afraid to slap people around. TOO FAR? Yeah I thought so.
Seriously if he's isn't 100% I hope DW is because we know he's more than capable of filling in. | |

| This is more concerning than most people think, Bell has suffered 3 significant injuries in his very short NFL career. Bell has plenty of upside but has a high risk for injury and as a result the Steelers will probably meet with a couple Rbs at the combine and that's not a bad thing, the shelf life of an NFL running back is one of the shortest of all positions. I'm not saying his career is almost over but he contributed very little due to suspension and injury last season and the Rooneys need a dependable back next year, my thoughts are if the Steelers didn't need DB/TE so badly a RB might have been an early pick in the 2016 draft | |

| I don't think we're there yet. He should be the no 1 back going into the reg season with DW backing him up. He deserves that chance. Steelers should concentrate on DB's, TE and offensive and defensive linemen, in that order, I hope I don't see a RB until maybe round 6 or 7, nor money wasted on a FA RB. | |
