Steelers vs. Giants game thread

In theory, the Steelers can afford to lose one more game and still have a realistic chance of making the playoffs. If they do lose another game, this would be the one to lose. With that said, they better not lose this game. Go Steelers.

Ravens losing to the Dolphins would have been helpful, but I don't think it hurts us too much. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we control our own destiny if we beat the remaining AFC teams on our schedule, even if we lose to the Giants. I'm almost certain I read that somewhere, but I haven't started looking too closely at tie-breaker scenarios yet. Even if today's game isn't a must win, a win is obviously better than a loss.

Today's game won't affect the division race. If we lose today and win the rest of the way, we'll be tied with the Ravens, assuming they win out minus the Christmas game against us.

If we lose today and win out, we should be in. If we win today and lose one of the remaining four, we're out unless the Ravens collapse. While a win is always important, today's game is meaningless in terms of winning the division.

I understand that today's game may not have as much of an impact on us statistically, but it definitely does when it comes to gaining momentum for December. A win today would make a huge statement to the rest of the league. We need this! GO STEELERS!!!!!!

A loss to an NFC team means the same right now when you are 6-5. That would mean the Steelers would be 2 games out of first for the last 4 games. Steelers have to win all their games to guarantee the division.

In his defense that was a ticky tack hold. Apple overran the play and wasn't going to make that tackle. I found it ridiculous they threw thr flag on that but the Giants LT tackles Stephon Tuitt and sits on top of him and that wasn't flagged.

Gotta say this playcalling is all over the place. Let's challenge their secondary, that's where we're having success. We make a play, then revert back into the runs, and short throws. That last third down throw had no chance at all.

Coaching staff continuously looks unprepared. One thing doesnt work, it messes up the rest of the series. No adaptability.
