Horrible run defense and costly turnovers lost this game. Trubisky reinforced why he's the backup, and the run defense may as well be non-existent. We knew the Ratbirds would emphasize the run, and still couldn't stop it. D-Line and O-Line need help come the draft and free agency.

If you don't have a Casey Hampton type of nose tackle you have no business running a 3 man front plus there are the same holes in the secondary since for ever. the only good defensive game this defense had imho was against Tom Brady where they ran a 4 man front and rotated the secondary around and keeped Brady confused most of the game.

Yeah they had a bunch of backups in the defensive backfield that week, and our DB's played phenomenal. Now I wonder where those players went.
And yes to your point about having a Casey Hampton. What a great run stuffer he was.
