Titans vs. Steelers: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

The Good:

EXCELLENT TEAM EFFORT ALL AROUND!

Ben- Looked good all day. Made mostly great throws. Took what the defense gave him.
Ward- Showed up big-time today! Great total game for Ward. Nice to see that smile again.
Brown- Another stellar returning day and some nice offensive catches.
Redman- Great day running the ball and breaking tackles. Ran with a lot of heart and was decisive. Hope he's OK.
Dwyer_ Where the hell did he come from!?! Huge day for Dwyer coming from deep on the bench.
Wallace- Making people who think he's a one-trick pony look stupid everywhere.
Heath- Big day receiving with a TD.
O-line- Awesome day for the O-line! Best they've played all year. Special shout-out to Max Starks for a solid game on short practice.
Woodley- About time he started to earn his money! Hopefully is the breakout game he needed to get started this season.
D-line- Played much better. Keisel, Hood, Hoke and Heyward all pitch in on a punchy effort.
Farrior- Played pretty good today. Not bad in coverage and made some nice tackles.
Ike- They didn't even try.
Gay- Made some excellent tackles and didn't give up much. Good job!
Lewis- Looked good out there and covered well. It may be time for him to get more playing time.
Troy- Another balls-out effort from the best safety in the NFL! Getting closer to a pick every game.
Special teams- Great return day. Nice fake punt conversion.
Bruce Arians- Great play-calling by the much maligned OC of the Steelers. He mixed it up and took the short passes. Didn't get greedy. Committed to the run.
Dick LeBeau- Defense was prepared and aggressive.
Mike Tomlin- Had this team ready and hungry to play for the first time this season. Good job, Mike!

The Bad:

Saunders- Dropped a pass that hit him in the hands.
A couple of dumb team penalties.

The Ugly:

The blocked punt.
The interception before the half. Who's fault was that exactly?

Hopefully we'll start to see a little continuity along the o-line sometime soon. A

Pretty damn good summary. I'll offer my opinions later (which aren't much different than yours), but for now ... it's near 80 degrees in October here in Ohio. I'm going outside. God bless global warming.

Agreed. Just filling out the "form". The bad/ugly was mostly minor and can be overlooked considering how well the team did overall.

Kudos to everyone for a job well done!

The only "bad" I would say was the missed tackles in the beginning of the game where Johnson torched us for a couple of big gainers but we were able to lock that down. Again, very nit picky.

I give the Steelers a solid A for that effort yesterday. THAT was some Steeler football
