Strap 'em on boys and girls...IT'S RATBIRD WEEK!

Don't get me wrong, yesterday's victory of marsha and the patriots* was a thing of beauty and one I wanted to relish in the presence of my patriots* friends (and I did for about 5 minutes).

Then the joy turned to immediate focus on two things:
1) The week 1 beat down at the hands of the ratbirds
2) Week 9 Sunday night shall be deemed REDEMPTION 2011

I believe the ratbirds played their SB back in week 1. And while they were impressive in that victory, I don't believe they are good as advertised. Let's add in the fact that the ravens hate playing in Pittsburgh in the spotlight. And let's face it, Sunday night is another spotlight game.

And while I've been slow to be anxious this season, this week, I'm jacked and ready to go.

Does anyone else feel a little wrong playing the Ratbirds twice before the bye week AND before we've played the Browns or the Bengals?

Not really. In fact, I like it that way. Gives way to do some healing before the playoffs knowing that both those games are done. Especially with the resurgent bungals the next week.

Those filthy black pigeons have some serious paybacks coming next week.
