| So in the course of 3 weeks we play: browns browns 2.0 browns
The problem is that the browns in reality are the ratbirds, aka baltimore ravens. They are coming off an impressive win over the raiders, while we limped (physically and literally) past the chiefs.
Most importantly, the Steelers seem to be hit hard by the injury bug this season, and the most important injury on offense is that to the shoulder of Ben Roethlisberger.
With all that is riding on the next 3 games, it would be nice to have Roethlisberger back. If not, then the defense is going to have to step it's play over the course of the next 3-4 weeks. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| Not to keep beating a dead horse, but this is the nightmare scenario we discussed last week ... playing without Ben or Clark. Just as long as they're BOTH not out. Having one out will be bad enough, but man, let's hope they're both not out. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |

| We've been preparing for Ben's absence in this game since his wife's delivery timetable was announced. We should be able to win a game without Ben. Lefty has a rocket arm and can torch defenses for 30-40 yards at a time. He's no Ben, and neither is Batch, but it'll be alright just as long as the defense steps it up, too. I won't be so optimistic if it's a multiple game scenario, but that doesn't seem to be the case right now, and that's good news. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

| Hopefully in better weather conditions and a full week of practice, Leftwich will look more like the QB he was during the preseason than last night. And the running game HAS to be considerably better than it was last night. | |

I really don't think you guys will have many issues running the ball. Have you seen that defense recently? _________________ Wallace108: Jon, how the hell do you expect any of us to ever follow your posts? You always set the bar awfully high. "Ray Rice is special. | It'd be incredibly embarrassing for the Ravens if they can't beat us with a Backup. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

| Seems like every year we play the Ravens at least once without Ben at the helm. _________________ Win, Lose, or Tie, I'm a Steeler fan until I DIE!!! | |

| Look at the bright side.... at least Dennis Dixon is gone. In other news, the Ravens just re-signed Dennis Dixon. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Ravens-Re-Sign-QB-Dennis-Dixon/20e815a5-ae83-4403-8bf5-47db22f0908c _________________ -"I stand corrected... | Ravens released Omar Brown. We should pick him up, put him on STs, and tell him if he does well enough he'll earn a starting position on the orster. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

| I wonder who the last team to beat the Steelers at Heinz Field was.
Hint: It's the same team that Pittsburgh is 0-4 against without Roethlisberger (since he's been on the team) _________________ Wallace108: Jon, how the hell do you expect any of us to ever follow your posts? What I wonder is what kind of assclown team dumps Gatorade on their head coach TWICE for regular season wins? :monkeyscratch: Is it the same team that puffs their chest until the playoffs and then has either their STAR ( ) QB play like he's a division 3 college QB or their ACE (more ) KICKER go wide? _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

| Here's a pop quiz: When was the last time the Ravens beat the Steelers in the playoffs, and how many Super Bowl appearances does Joe Flacco have in his career? You see, ravens fans don't understand that Ben has TWO rings, and he got them in almost the same amount time Flacco has been in the league. In fact, if Flacco doesn't make it to the big dance this year, Roethlisberger will have won TWO SuperBowl's before Flaccid's first appearance! Man, that's gotta suck. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy
