With Ryan Clark being held out of this weekend’s game with the Broncos, the Steelers will be down one starting defender.
They expect have another one back, however. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who has played sparingly since injuring his hamstring on October 30, is on track to play in Denver. Coach Mike Tomlin said at his Tuesday press conference that he wasn’t sure how much Woodley would be able to practice, but that there’s no sign that he won’t be able to answer the bell.
“That is to be determined,” Tomlin said of Woodley’s practice status. “One thing we are comfortable with is that at the end of this thing he is going to be capable of playing in the football game.”

I hope this turns out to be good news and Woodley is ready to go.... FOR REAL! With the way Worilds has been pressuring the opposing QB lately, I'd rather see him start at 100% than see Woodley at 60% and ineffective.
I hope it isn't another situation like Ben where the coaching staff is being stubborn and running their normally best player out there when, in actuality, the better player at the moment is the back-up because an injury has rendered the starter all but useless.
