| "Bruce Arians has informed me that he will retire from coaching. I appreciate his efforts over the past five years as the team’s offensive coordinator and for helping lead our offense to new heights during his time with the Steelers. I am grateful to Bruce for contributing to our success and wish him nothing but the best in his retirement."
That's all he had to say? Pretty dry and stern, don't you think?
Let's see.......
Tomlin "appreciates his efforts ..........". That says it all. Thanks for the efforts (but not for the results).
"and for helping lead our offense ........ ". That's what Bruce was doing??? So who was the guy leading the offense that Arians helped? Ben? Tomlin? Someone else? | |

We're not in the playoffs, and this is big news. I think considering this thread is different from the other Arians retired threads, and it contains his opinions, there's nothing wrong with it being here. I'm not calling anyone names. I'm simply pointing out that no matter what Tomlin said someone with all of their anti- arians bs was going to find fault with it and start a thread about it. You called him a search engine  I was just poking fun at that. But yeah, I think pointing out that Tomlin didn't exactly credit Arians with much may have been a little far fetched. The guy just lost his father, i'm sure he's got a lot on his mind... But the dude posted his thoughts, and this is what i'll say. @ topic creator: I think your over reacting to Tomlin's comments on this matter. His statement was hardly even a paragraph, it's easy to misinterpret.
