| The only way I could agree with them keeping Hines is if they lose Wallace or Cotchery. If Wallace stays and they can resign Cotchery, I don't want to see Hines rot on the bench. I'd prefer that he just retire, but that doesn't appear to be an option. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |

| I, unfortunately, feel the same way as VA and Wally. I'd like him back in my heart, but the business side screams "let him go". I just wish he would have decided to retire to save all of this hand-wringing.
The petition, ultimately, won't make a difference in the FO's decision anyway. At least I hope not. They know what they are doing and will decide on what's best for the team. I just want Ward handled with great respect as he has earned it. _________________ -"I stand corrected... | I'm interested to see how this will all play out. Hines definitely deserves to go riding off into the sunset like the hero he has been, but we have some young guys that have really stepped it up. Who would have thought that Antonio Brown would be playing at the level he is playing at? I'm not sold on Cotchery or Sanders, so I still think that Ward is our best 3rd WR based on his career and physicality. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

All Cotchery did was make plays every time he was given an opportunity. I'm sold on Sanders' talent, but not his ability to stay healthy. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

| Really guys?
Who says he is done? He had an injury, an ankle issue, and was basically benched for the entire season under Arians. Just because he isn't the one Ben goes to for the "long bombs".
Maybe the Rooney's should listen to the fans. It's the fans that buy the tickets and merchandise.
I can't wait to see how much they pay Wallace -- personally, I don't think he's worth it.

| I signed the petition (the one with the most signatures - had over 2,000 before I signed it), for the sole reason that Ward is definitely an impact player. Not necessarily on the field, well not as he used to be, but more so in the locker room and as a team leader. I believe that if you remove him from the fold it has a big impact on the offense as a whole.
If they do with him like the did Woodson, I will be terribly disappointed in the FO once again. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!
