| I personally think that we have some very good unexperienced talent at running back. You have a big bruising back in John clay and redman, you have break away runners in mendenhall and dwyer, and you have two third down/ hybrid backs in batch and Rainey. Now assuming all of these running backs are healthy, who would you want as your one two punch? I personally would go with redman, and mendenhall, with Rainey as the third down back/ slot reciever. For one, redman can find those holes and pound through. He will always get positive yardage. Even though he is not as fast, he is very shifty. Mendenhall is not quite as good at finding holes out of nothing. The one thing he has that redman doesn't is speed to break the play when you get space. Bettie's was always better when he had a speedy guy to complement him. I pick mendenhall over Chris Rainey because I feel he is more of a complete actual running back. | I think you meant for the title of the article to be "Tandem of choice"
I'm saying Redman and Rainey. We've seen what Mendenhall has to offer and he has shown glimpses of a great running back but I have liked more what I have seen from Redman. Redman and Mendenhall both have issues fumbling the ball but Redman doesn't dance around like Mendenhall does.
I have HIGH hopes for Rainey. It'd be great if he could start in the backfield and motion out to a receiver position. What a threat that would be. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| We definitely should have some good battles at the running back position. It will be interesting to see what the depth chart looks like week 1, week 7, and week 15. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| I went with Redman/Mendenhall only because we've actually seen Mendenhall more than a couple of plays and I'd like to see what he can do behind this new o-line. I'd still rather Redman be the starter and I'm excited to see what both Batch and Rainey can possibly bring to the table as change of pace backs with their speed.
I've grown somewhat tired of "Rashard's Backfield Dance Party", however, and could be easily swayed in another direction if one of these other guys shows he's got what it takes. In that case, Mendy's days are done here. _________________ -"I stand corrected... | I went with Red and Dwyer...definitely a quick tandem with some punishing power.
Plus I truly believe that Mendenhall's days are numbers in the B-n-G _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!

That's who I picked. I have a gut feeling about Batch and I think Redman cures his fumble problem.
