The Steelers have signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Paul Cox. Financial terms of the one-year deal were not disclosed.
Cox (6-5, 205) is a rookie free agent out of Mississippi Valley State who was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers on April 30, 2012, but was released on July 25, 2012. Cox will wear No. 81.
To make room on the roster the Steelers released offensive tackle Bridger Buche.

Did Buche even have enough time for a cup of coffee?
It may be subtle, but the F.O. seems to be trying to send a message to Wallace by picking up another WR. Not that I expect Cox to be the second coming of John Stallworth, but just that they are stockpiling some WRs just in case.
