While there has been much concern over how new offensive coordinator Todd Haley's schemes would be handled by the Steelers and whether or not Haley and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would get along, wide receiver Antonio Brown is effusive in his praise for Haley's style.
"It's definitely a big difference," Brown said Wednesday.
"Todd's really a cool guy -- shaking guy's hands, communicating with guys, putting in that extra time for guys, visiting with guys. Bruce [Arians] wasn't really that type of guy -- he just went about his business.
"Todd is more team-oriented and more communicative with players and trying to work together with all the men, so he's getting to know everyone," Brown said

| sounds like the players and OC are starting to hit on all cylinders (at least outside of the playbook).
Sounds like Haley has the right approach. Get the players all on the same page so when it comes time to explode that playbook open on the field, there is no misunderstanding in how to do it....and I'm guessing it won't be with a bubble screen. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available! | |

| Nothing wrong with a bubble screen if they guy who calls it, calls it correctly. _________________ "Either you're playing dumb, or it's not an act". -Judge Judy

| Haley has handles things, thus far, beautifully. The effusive praise he has gotten from several of the players already has really calmed my fears of him being too aggressive and abrasive (and also reinforced my belief of what a clueless shithead Arians was ). Hell, he even has Brucie's boy Ben warming up to him lately! This is great news on the team chemistry front, now all we need is for it to translate onto the field which I am starting to feel is a very likely scenario. We just need guys to put in the work and stay healthy at this point. _________________ -"I stand corrected... I totally agree. Between the infusion of the Offensive Line talent and the arrival of Haley, I think (hope) we'll see much improvement. I really liked the Steelers.com interview with Haley - he's willing to run, but will take what the defenses offer and play to our strengths... and it sounds like we'll use no-huddle a lot more. Love it... and so will Ben! If / When Wallace arrives, and if / when the DeCastro-Adams connection begin flourishing, we're going to have a formidable Offense. | |

| This all sounds real promising. Don't forget Haley grew up in the Burgh. Other than being HC this is probably a dream job for him. I think he'll do everything in his power to turn this offense into a powerhouse. | |
