NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a visit to Detroit Lions training camp today that the league is not currently considering putting advertisements on its uniforms, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

NBA deputy commissioner Adam Silver told reporters last month that his league “likely” will allow teams to sell advertising space on their jerseys in the near future and that “there is potentially a big opportunity in the marketplace” for it.
