Bettis, Cowher among nominees for 2013 NFL Hall of Fame

Jerome Bettis heads a group of Steelers among the 127 nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
Bettis and Kevin Greene, both finalists last year, join kicker Gary Anderson, center Jeff Hartings, coaches Bill Cowher and Buddy Parker, defensive coordinator Bud Carson and player personnel head Art Rooney Jr. from the Steelers. All were also nominated last year.
Also on the list are former Pitt linemen Bill Fralic and Jim Covert, former Penn State lineman Steve Wisniewski and former West Virginia linebacker Darryl Talley.
The list will be pared to 25 in a vote by the 44-member selection committee. Another vote will reduce it to 15 who will then join two seniors candidates as finalists for election Feb. 2. The 2013 class will consist of between four and seven inductees.

Defensive Back -- John Lynch (S)
Kicker -- Morten Andersen
