Riders add two, Release one
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today the signing of non-import kicker Jamie Boreham and import receiver Limas Sweed to the team’s practice roster. Financial details of the agreements were not released.

Sweed (6’4 – 220) spent three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being drafted in the 2nd round (53rd overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. The Navasota, TX native appeared in 20 regular season games, registering 7 receptions for 69 yards and was a member of the 2009 Super Bowl Champions following the Steelers victory over Arizona in SuperBowl XLIII .
The 27-year old spent four seasons at the University of Texas before making the jump to the NFL where he was a two time Rose Bowl Champion and member of the 2005 BCS National Championship team.
