- PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Post-Gazette reporter and Steelers insider for 93-7 The Fan Ed Bouchette joined The Fan Morning Show on Monday in his regular weekly spot to look back at the Steelers’ 40-23 loss to the Bears.
Bouchette thought that Ben Roethlisberger’s performance in that game resembled that of Tommy Maddox during a game against the expansion Texans in 2002, in which he had three interceptions returned for touchdowns (though Roethlisberger only had one returned for a touchdown last night).

The Steelers scored only 6 points. While there's no running away from all of Ben's mistakes last night, he also did some things well and helped get them back in the game. Take away the turnovers and Ben played a good game. Unfortunately, you can't take away the turnovers. Ben has to shoulder a lot of blame for the loss, but in no way would I compare it with Maddox's pathetic performance against the Texans. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart.
