That's the questions. Yes, I know that multiple things can finish that sentence but what fun would a debate be if people didn't have to pick a lane? So, what do you think will be THE MOST IMPORTANT factor to a successful Steelers' season?

Defensive pressure

Why? Because that's a mark of a good defense. If you are able to pressure the run and pass game, it's awful hard for teams to move the ball. Defensive pressure can hide poor play by the defensive backs by making the QB rush throws.

Yep, I agree. The success of our defense will be determined by how well we pressure quarterbacks. The past few seasons we haven't gotten good pressure, and we've seen the results. If you give even an average QB all day to throw the ball, he's going to find an open receiver.

Scoring more points than the other team.

IMO, the difference is the following:
OFFENSE: controlling the ball & finishing drives off with more TDs than FGs or punts
STs: maintaining returns to a minimum on both punts and kickoffs, and on punts learn to coffin kick
DEFENSE: 60 minutes of solid defense and forgetting the words 'Prevent Defense'
