Now THIS is the guy we need behind Bell. Can handle starting responsibilities, a GREAT locker room influence, one of the best screen catchers in the NFL, has good size for goal line reps, rarely fumbles, and best of all, would be affordable!

I've watched Pierre for years, and have always admired his style of play, even when they told him he wouldn't be the Saints starter, he always kept his head down, did his job, and outperformed those who were supposed to take his job. (Bush, Sproles, Bell, and even at times Ingram)

I hope the Steelers see his potential and go get him immediately.

I like Thomas and wouldn't mind seeing him in Black and Gold (er, the REAL Black and Gold). As with anyone we consider bringing in, it all depends on money and if he'd be willing to accept the limited role.

Between him and Reggie Bush we could fill the need that we have. I also was hoping we would get Stephen Jackson.

I would take Thomas over all available options at this point. He fits the bill of exactly what we need from a back.

Too bad this didn't happen. Honestly I think Pierre Thomas is an underrated RB. The guy can run the ball with toughness, and he can catch. I just hope that DeAngelo Williams can produce.

Google says he's a free agent. Makes no sense to me. I thought he outplayed Mark Ingram a lot of the time. Some guys just never really get a fair shake.
