He was lights out in this game. He has been coming on strong. He showed the progress he has made in preseason and is carrying it over to the regular season. You can see what is possible when a player with such physical gifts is healthy, has a passion for the game, and a desire to be great.
I hope he continues to develop and improve, and becomes a perennial Pro Bowl caliber player. It looks like he might be on his way.

As long as that D-Line continues to push the pocket and open up lanes for Shazier to shoot gaps, then Shazier can really showcase his natural athletic abilities. I was highly encouraged by the play of the defensive line, a lot of the LBs success hinges on the D-Line's success.
