PITTSBURGH -- Ask Mike Mitchell privately about the offseason surgery to both sides of his groin -- a double groin procedure, basically -- and he doesn't say much. He doesn't have to. The facial expression says it all.

Pain-ful.

Mitchell is now delivering the pain as the Pittsburgh Steelers' lead safety, playing like the guy the Steelers expected when they signed him to a five-year deal worth $25 million.

Stephen A doesnt know Jack about football.

That link is to a story by Jeremy Fowler, Senior NFL writer....not Stephen A.

Points are valid. Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett could give the secondary some problems.

Personally, I like Stephen A. The man is intelligent and rose to his position by hard work. Many may not like his outlandish speech at times, but I think he calls it like he sees it and isn't afraid to paint the race situation as it is.

Remember when Mark Cuban made some comment about seeing a black kid in a hoodie, or a white guy all tatted up....that he would cross the street?? On ESPN that day Mark Schlereth is just bashing Cuban about it and I honestly heard the comment in context and didn't think Cuban was wrong, he was just speaking about prejudices that we develop. Stephen A Smith agreed with Cuban's statement and makes a great rational argument why. http://dailycaller.com/2014/05/24/stephen-a-smith-defends-mark-cubans-comments-on-bigotry-video/

Admittedly, Stephen A. only recently started watching more college football. I think basketball is his first love, but the man is intelligent and calls the world the way it is, not the politically correct way. IMO

This would be sweet!

"On Sunday, Ben Roethlisberger could pass a former Seahawks' quarterback in the NFL's career record book.

Roethlisberger is currently tied with former Seattle quarterback Dave Krieg for 14th all-time with 261 touchdown passes, and can pass him in Seattle during the Steelers' game against the Seahawks this Sunday.

Krieg, who spent 12 of his 19 seasons in Seattle, was a three-time Pro Bowler during his time with the Seahawks. He threw 195 of his career touchdown passes as a member of the Seahawks, while leading Seattle to the 1983 AFC Championship Game.

It's been a season of milestones for Roethlisberger, who earlier this season passed Johnny Unitas and Joe Montana on the NFL's career passing list. On Sunday, he could pass a Seahawks' legend, while helping lead the Steelers to victory in a place they haven't won in since 1983."

But since 1983!? confused I guess we are due!

I figured I would check in and pay tribute to all the crybaby lurking Shitcocks fans who keep stalking our message boards. This entire week I had to listen to the same shit when I was all the way up in Spokane and now Vancouver, WA. All I keep hearing is, "Never forget", referring to how they were supposedly screwed out of Super Bowl XL.

Well, here's a video for you. Never forget!!!!! On to Seattle - Page 6 3056903510

Iowa, I agree with your keys to the game.

Another important one, IMO, is to not come out flat and avoid early turnovers. The Steelers can't let Seattle get the momentum early or they will just blitz the crap out of BR7.

My Offensive key points for success: 1) Throw on 1st down and call disguised runs like shotgun draws on 2nd down (be unpredictable on play calling)  2) Control the time of possession, since Seattle's defense has been getting exhausted and crumbling in the 4th quarter this season.

For defense: 1) Stop the run first 2) Avoid man coverage and contain Russell Wilson. Make him try and beat us with his arm, not legs. 3) Pay special attention to Graham, because it seems like our D has trouble covering TE's for whatever reason.

Special Teams: 1) Don't take any chances taking the ball out of the end zone on kick off returns, because field position is going to be critical in this hostile environment 2) Have AB returning the punts (not Jones) 3) I am not worried about our kicking game at all. I have been very impressed with our youngster Chris Boswell. Let him kick from 53 yards and less!

I've been having some fun posting on their board but god damn are they cry babies, they think that Bettis shouldn't even be in the hall of fame, and that if that ONE holding call wouldn't have been called they would've won Superbowl XL. Talk about living in the past, good god On to Seattle - Page 6 1505004552

I hope Ben picks them apart and puts up 400+ and we hold them to under 14pts. 4:25pm tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

I am hoping for a lopsided victory too! I can only imagine how many fights are going to break out outside and inside of their stadium tomorrow. A lot of the younger Seattle fans have turned into the most annoying and ignorant fan base while almost matching Oakland and Philly's fans. I heard Buffalo fans are like that too, but I haven't met many here on the west coast.

I am so glad I didn't bother purchasing the NFL Sunday Ticket this year. For the third game in a row the Steelers game is the CBS "local" game broadcast here in New Mexico. When Steelers aren't in prime time the Broncos and cowboys usually are, in the Cowboys are almost exclusively shown on Fox.

It is sad to say, but here in New Mexico a Cardinals fan needs NFL Sunday Ticket more than the Steelers fans do.

I have only had to go to the bar 3 times this year for a Steelers game.

No sense in paying $30-50 a game.

Awesome, man, I can't wait to see those beautiful terrible towels in that child-like neon green and blue stadium.

I hope you and your son have an awesome time with (hopefully) good-spirited folks around you, and here's to a great game On to Seattle - Page 6 348340646

I am nervous that bettors clearly think Ben will put up points on a defense that may need to make a last stand today in a stadium with a great home field advantage

Line opened earlier in the week at Seattle -4&1/2 to -5&1/2 and now has dropped to Seattle favored by 3
