| As you well know, there is no better time to be playing football than during our playoffs,” NFL executive V.P. of football operations Troy Vincent said in a memo issued to all coaches and General Managers. “As we work together, we will continue striving to represent the NFL’s key values — respect, resiliency, integrity and responsibility to team.
“Your team is competing as one of the best in the world at what you do. With the nation and fans around the world watching, we are reminded of the responsibility we share to demonstrate the highest standards of sportsmanship and respect for the game, each other, the officials and the fans. Emotions will run high, but no emotion should give way to demeaning or offensive words or actions. Our rules prohibiting fighting, illegal hits, and abusive language will be strictly enforced.”
It’s an important reminder, especially with the Steelers and Bengals due to tangle for a third time this season on Saturday night. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/01/06/nfl-reminds-teams-of-importance-of-sportsmanship-in-postseason/ So I guess Ben, AB, Deebo, Burfict and PacMan are going to make s'mores before singing Kumbaya at the 50 prior to kickoff? Good luck with that

| Only saying it because they have to...
None of that will matter when those 2 teams take the field. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| Cincinnati Radio Station Makes Fake Ben Roethlisberger Sexual Assault PSAKaylin Neely 1/8/2016 A Cincinnati radio station issued a citywide warning that Ben Roethlisberger is in town. 700 WLW aired a fake public service announcement, stating that the quarterback's presence in the city puts women, especially those consuming alcohol, at risk. It goes on to warn that women with breast enhancement are in more danger. "The Steelers quarterback has been spotted in the downtown Cincinnati area. All females ages 18-40 are to use extreme caution, especially if heavily consuming alcohol. Males should also be on the lookout just in case." It continues, "If you see Big Ben and he flashes little Ben you are asked to report it to authorities immediately." The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday in the NFL wildcard round so Roethlisberger is in town for the game. Warning: it's in very bad taste and not funny... to read rest of article: http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2016/01/08/cincinnati-radio-station-makes-fake-be#WU9LU4mj2MVHGIui.99 | |

| There is a lot of insecure little brother sniping at big brother who always beats him up with regard to the Bengals and their fan base, with the WLW crap just being another example
Pressure on the Bengals is huge tomorrow night - the crowd will be wondering how the hammer will drop this time and with a lot of free agent signings on deck the Bengals know this team may be in for a shakeup if they lose again

| I still think its BS how the Bengals were the ones instigating / committing most of the fouls in our last game, but we got penalized almost every time. Burfict got fined 3 times for different instances but only one personal foul was called on him, when the game was already out of reach. The refs were clearly on the Bengals' side in that game.
I personally don't give a crap who gets fined, those guys are millionaires and it's a drop in the bucket for them. Penalties on the other hand, can affect the outcome of the game, especially the 15 yard variety (& free first down if it's a defensive foul).

The refs handled the last game very badly, and the Steelers were probably on the wrong end of a few personal foul penalties. Now the team has to understand that certain things won't be tolerated. This is a playoff game. It is up to the players to keep their heads out there on the field to not take bad penalties. All this posturing and threatening means nothing if you don't win the game. I suspect both teams know this because of what is at stake in this football game, and will act accordingly. I just hope they send those wannabes home so they can lose their minds over failing to win another playoff game. That would be priceless. _________________ I'm a shell of my former self.

| Tom Jackson: "One person (fan) yelled when Antonio Brown was down, 'I hope he's dead.'" Jackson excoriated Bengals fans, as he should.
