| I usually don't watch, but I did want to see what Chris Rock would bring. The 20 minute monologue at the beginning was worth watching.
After that, I tuned out. Some of the under card awards are nice to watch, as these people are generally excited about winning. One actress was nearly hyperventilating between the "Oh my God, thank you all" expressions.
The Wife enjoys watching such things though. | |

| I didn't watch, but was glad to see Mad Max clean up the technical categories. But everyone knows the big story is DiCaprio finally winning an Oscar. I've come to appreciate him as one of the best actors of our generation, though I initially hated him when he did movies like Romeo + Juliet and Titanic. I didn't really start to appreciate him until Shutter Island. I agree, he's one of the best of this generation.
