With all of the firings Haley has to be in the mix for a HC job, although among O coordinators he is behind at least McDaniel & Shanahan

If he leaves, I wouldn't mind seeing our current RB coach promoted to OC. I think Shanahan goes to Denver. No idea about McDaniels but I think he's going to get his second chance.

They were talking about that yesterday during the game. I just wonder if he's content being our OC and isn't interested in a HC job and the stress. That would be fine with me.

he's got better talent to work with in Denver really all they need is a better NT and one player DB up grade.

You should have read the Dolphins message boards after the loss. They were practically putting together funding to fly Joesph out of Miami and into Denver.

Redskins OC actually. Interesting hireand I do think going offense was the right move but man is McVay young. A few years younger than Tomlin was when he came to the Steelers. Of part of that is just me being awe struck that someone a year and a half than me is becoming a NFL head coach. Apparently Wade Phillips is going to be the DC. Maybe he improves that defense and McVay can do something with Goff. The Rams would be smart to be patient though. Honestly, I thought the Broncos should have hired an offensive mind for their team. I have heard good things about Joseph but wasn't really impressed with Miami's defense when we played them but then again, we hired Minny's DC and Tomlin has been I think a great get for us.

think Wade Phillips will be a good mentor for Sean McVay plus I always like Wade's defensive scheme.

Yeah Phillips isn't a great HC but he's one of the smarter defensive minds out there. Did McVay hire anyone for OC yet? I know offense is more his niche but a good OC goes a logn way with a young QB.
