Steelers Ravens (Gameday Thread)

Well, with all the stuff and complaining going on surrounding our team, everyone seems to forget it's hate week
Surprised there wasn't even made a topic about this game yet.

What do you guys expect to happen?

I think the Ravens are the better team right now, but these games are almost always close no matter the quality of the teams and the record of the teams and I predict that Ben will lead us to victory. 35-31 Steelers

All I can say is our front better be able to get to Flacco because our back end is one big ass full of holes.

Ben needs to continue to play like he has so far and I think we will win by no more than 3 points.

It would be nice to see both Connor and AB both get over the hundred yard mark.

What do you guys expect to happen?

A bunch of personal foul penalties.

I believe both Jimmy Smith and Moseley are out for the Ratbirds. So hopefully Ben goes off again

Ugh Bungles came back at the last second and beat the Falcons. We had a chance to leap frog in the division if they lost and we won tonight.

Bengals are looking decent at least. Built similar to us, decent offense, mediocre to bad defense. Typical Falcons choke job though.

yeah, my CBS station abruptly went to commercial right before the Bengals scored. When it came back, it was the Giants/Saints game. I had to look at my Score Mobile app to see what happened at the end. :(

Mike Hilton is inactive tonight... Not good news for a secondary unit that might just be the worst in the league right now. Maybe our defense shows up for the first time tonight. One can hope and dream right?

Artie Burns needs to step up. Rod Woodson was the special guest on the pregame show. Rod gave Artie his endorsement. He said, kid has all the tools to be a great CB. He needs to get his head straight though, and fast. If he keeps getting burned, Rod said it really affects your confidence and you begin thinking you don't belong in the NFL. That's the fastest way to be shown the door out of the NFL.

Artie needs to get things together and start playing like a 1st round draft pick. Tonight is a good place as any to start.

I'm inclined to agree with Rod, Burns has shown he's had the tools in the past. I think it's a mental thing for him, more than a physical one. If he can't get out of the mental funk though, we're going to have to look to somebody else because he's been straight killing us this season.

Same shitty defense. Can't tackle. Coaches have to use a timeout because Lamar Jackson would've gotten his first touchdown... Ugly. This defense continues to be trash.

Well, that was too easy for Baltimore. TJ Watt was manhandled and tacked though.

I'm inclined to hit the shitter when Rod Woodson or Emmitt Smith do any commentary about anything. Balless, cliche, useless commentary on any subject they talk about.

Defense gives up an easy TD at home for the Ravens first drive, then we turn the damn ball over on offense. This team can't get out of it's own way.

This literally could be the worst defense in the NFL. Literally.

Worst defense since the Saints defense I think in 2014? One of those years.

I'm not one for calling for coaches heads but I want Keith Butler gone. His defense is the worst Steelers defense I've ever personally watched. Giving out TDs like Oprah giving out gifts to her audience. Literally nothing has gotten better since Week 1. These guys can't cover, they can't line up, they're confused, they're out of position. Looking like some struggling JV squad out there.

Our offense is literally going to have to do everything to win games this season, because our defense is so bad we might as well not even field one.

It's not helping that the 3 holding calls on the Ravens weren't called. I mean we don't need the refs against us. We can fuck it up just fine.

It doesn't help either when the defense is shitting the bed, and the offense sleeps until it is 21-0 or so.
