There, I said it. I like Tomlin too. Here is my issue. The tail has been wagging the dog for several years. He has been making changes lately to personnel based on performance. I hope it continues because this is part of being the Boss and letting these guys know who is in charge. I have not heard anything lately about social media distractions so maybe this last thing with AB pissed him off enough to put his foot down. Focus has been an big issue but that didn't seem to be a problem against the Falcons. I hope this continues. One game at a time mentality could go a long way to turning this season around. The reality is there isn't a more capable coach out there that isn't coaching right now. This is not a "we're stuck with him for now " statement. My big knock is the lack of discipline. I hope he has realized he can be a players coach and an authority figure too. This team needs a leader on the sideline as well as leaders on the field.

You're right. I forgot about Munch. I still think if Tomlin starts getting these guys focused and playing with a real purpose we'll be fine.

| the last Steelers o-line man turned coach was Noll but when Noll went into coaching it was the defense side, d-line, backfield, then defensive coordinator. guess that's why he was such a great headcoach he learned football in the trenches from a o-line men and d-line men prospective, LB and DB prospective, than as a DC. his defenses going up against two great offensive minded headcoach in practice.
