New England vs Pittsburgh game the Steelers offense eliminated the Running Back Position kinda I think you saw the way the RB position might be scouted from now on. what do you mean crazy man? well I'm getting at, look for those 225lbs receivers who are quick enough to carry the ball because imo he'll be lining up at a receiver position as much as the RB position.

I know what you're saying. Look at what Samuels did. Simply amazing. They can go 5 wide, then shift him back in and run the ball. He's a perfect hybrid back for it, too.

I still think you'll see the running back with fullback set because it is also effective.

I agree and some proof was what New England did with Michel behind a FB. They did their best running using that set.

And we have one of the best fullbacks in football, so I don't think we're going to see that formation go away anytime soon.

Nix is a very good FB / TE Hybrid to go a long with Samuels RB / Receiver Hybrid and a bunch of WRs and a couple of TEs the Steelers offense has countless of combination of players to throw at opposing defenses.

We're gonna need all these players against N.O. They struggled to beat Carolina last night. 12-9 Brees threw 35 times for 203, no TDs and 1 Int. If we can force him into that kind of game again we can win. I hope Tomlin is on the game film this morning.

Need to pressure Drew Brees like we did Tom Brady. These guys aren't invincible, they're just used to playing QB and barely ever getting hit. If we can collapse the pocket and force Brees out of his comfort zone the Saints are a beatable team.

They have to, or it's going to be a long long day. If you let Brees be comfortable he'll tear you apart just like Brady, Brees, Ben, Rodgers, etc... Thing with Brady and Brees is that if you can hit them and pressure them then they start to make mistakes where guys like Ben and Rodgers can extend plays and flourish under pressure.

I'm really hoping they can pull it out this Sunday too. It would completely reverse a season that seemed lost after the Oak loss. The schedule did us no favors with this 2 game stretch, but there are a few advantages:

Baltimore goes on a short week to west coast to Chargers team that will have had 9 days off and supposed to get some players back. Steelers get Saints on a short week for them, still a tough environment but maybe that is one positive.

I'm actually fine with the scheduling. The tougher the team, and the schedule, the better the Steelers play. Too bad we couldn't finish up with the Rams or Bears the following week.

because it doesn't matter how the Bengals limp into this game I guarantee they'll play as hard as thay can.
