What did everyone take a vacation?

We've got the prime time, and unfortunately with it we get Collinsworthless announcing the game.

First string defense looked good early and has played solid for the first half.

I was concerned about the offense being able to move the ball. The first drive wasn't that impressive but they looked more cohesive after that.

Going in to the half (33 seconds left), the defense has maintained it's intensity.

I believe Rudolph has played a decent half after Ben got his reps in.

I've been talking about the Rudolph to Washington connection and there it was, topping the Ben to Ju Ju. They both looked good. Both TDs and both QBs.

The Tuitt safety was a thing of beauty. Did you see him split the double team. That's a grown man there.
The defense is playing good. Bush let Lewan get a hold of him on that one run. Rookie mistake.

We looked good in all phases in the first half. I don't understand why Switzer is returning kicks. I thought we'd be seeing Spencer.

The second stringers getting the job done. Strip sack, and fumble recovery to end the Titans drive.

I think after Spencer's miscue last week, coach wanted more reliable hands? Maybe? Maybe we'll see Spencer in the second half.

On another note, does anyone else thing the photo they showed of Dobbs looked like a smaller version of Ryan Shazier?

And now we get Dobbs at QB.

I am concerned about the offensive line production after the first unit. Any significant injuries and I feel like our running game is toast.

I know it's only pre-season, but Mike Tomlin won a freaking challenge.

Dobbs made a great play to get down field, but then on the last two passing plays he over throws the short route.

Frustrating.

Wright nails the FG and Steelers take 18-3 lead.

Justin Layne with a solid hit on the WR, dislodging him from the ball.

I think Rudolph has taken the 2nd spot. The starting D looks stout 55 is going to be a game changer even Artie Burns is playing well.

McDonald dropping two passes right in his hands makes me cringe, TE is the only weak spot on the O.

Would like to see Skipper against 1s to see if he is able to replicate his play against 1s.instead of 3s

Skipper making a name for himself.

Maybe next week we'll get to see some of that. Oh wait, it's the last game of PS, we aren't seeing it.

Little disappointing Hodges didn't play QB tonight. I'm guessing next game he'll get a majority of snaps in the 2nd half.

Steelers are a all around more talented then the Titans.

any guesses on the reasoning behind the QB rep distribution ? no playing time for Hodges. was this strictly a look for who gets the nod for 2nd ? mason gets a little over a quarter and dobbs gets 2 full quarters ? they both did get 5 series and both threw 9 passes . to me thats just not a big enough sample size. if hodges is not in the mix, i would have preferred to see both play a full game with equal amounts of time with the rest of the starters. i would want see 30+ passes in a full game from each guy if i were coach. thats the ONLY way to see how they react to game time conditions. there are to many variables that need to be considered when your splitting time in a game. such as pass rush pressure , who are the receivers , who is in the secondary , play calls , etc.....

That embarrassing picture they posted of Collinsworth though comparing him to AJ Brown and DK Metcalf was well worth having to listen to his nails-on-a-chalkboard voice.
