On Steelers offense watching WRs Thompson amd JUJU with TE Vannett looks these 3 might be forming base of the passing game.

On defense I'm thinking S Fitzpatrick might be a Polamalu type of S not saying anyone could come close to Troy's play on the field but Fitzpatrick seems to have an eye for the INTs later in games.

I think you mean Johnson unless WEEEGIE is coming out of retirement.

Brissett is a decent QB who is mobile. I think our D can handle him and with all their injuries we should be able to put up points.

There's a name I haven't thought about in a long time. My most enduring memory of him is that me and my friends insisted on calling him Wedgie Thompson. Yeah, we were original and creative like that.

Fun fact: Weegie's real name is Willis Hope Thompson. That's funnier than Weegie.

I remember Noll running him at the end line of the end zone so he could out jump defenders and him scoring a ton of TDs because he was like 6'9" and couldn't be covered. I just looked him up, and as it turns out he was 6'6" and scored 11 total TDs in his career.

I've been on vacation and watched a lot of old games on YouTube. I was sort of focusing on games from 1980-86. It was nice to see guys like Weegie again.

Agree. Earlier in the season I had thought this would be an easy game due to the Colts sudden loss of Luck. It doesn't seem so much now but I think winnable.

I think he was short but the side view looked like the defender's forearm was under Samuel's knee. I really wanted 7 but 3 makes it a new game.

Yeah, I agree. Thought he was in for sure but the side view showed he was just short.

Sucks that we couldn't get an inch though.

Someone needs to tell Joe Hayden to step up and start covering these WRs. He looked like last years Artie Burns on that last throw.

Gene Steratore just said he thought that was a touchdown because the arm was under Samuels and he said Tomlin would have won the challenge.

Now the defense goes to sleep.Mason is going to have to play lights out this game. He's playing good so far. No excuse for letting their backup QB do that. We have to start putting pressure on whoever is back there.

Washington is having a good game. That was a helluva catch.

It was a pretty easy pass too. Have to make it more difficult than that.

I'll say this: I've always liked Hoyer. He is a capable backup, and I don't expect their offense to see much of a drop-off with him in.
