Adversity has hit Willie Colon again.
Sunday when the Steelers lost in Baltimore, Colon, a starting right tackle, suffered a torn triceps muscle that may end his season.
Last summer before training camp, Colon tore an Achilles' tendon and missed the entire season.
"This is just devastating," said Anthony Piroli, a personal trainer whose clients include Colon. "After what happened to Willie last year, he busted his butt this year to be in the best possible shape he could be in. He's worked so hard. And now this. I feel so bad for him."
Sunday after the 35-7 loss to the Ravens, coach Mike Tomlin didn't mention any injuries in the game other than linebacker James Harrison bruising his knee.
But Colon did appear shaken up late in the fourth quarter after Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs sacked quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Colon finished the game, and afterwards, seemed fine physically in the locker room as he talked to the media
Colon is expected to have surgery today.
