| Seahawks injuries: Robert Gallery, Sidney Rice making progress
RENTON — Offensive guard Robert Gallery and receiver Sidney Rice each returned to practice for the Seahawks on Wednesday.
Gallery (knee) was listed as a full participant on the Seahawks’ injury report, while Rice (shoulder) saw limited time in practice.
Coach Pete Carroll wasn’t ready to make any declarations about the status of either player for Sunday’s game against the Steelers, though things look more promising for Gallery than for Rice. Gallery was able to work at left guard during team drills, Carroll said, allowing James Carpenter to move back over to right tackle.
As for Rice, Carroll said: “He ran around a lot and caught a lot of balls today. What that means I don’t know. It’s better than not seeing him do it. … Again, we’ll go to tomorrow, see how he responded from today and take these one day at a time and treat them all individually.”
