Matt Canada: Steelers going to 'stick with what we're doing' on offense

But, like coach Mike Tomlin and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said earlier in the week, Canada believes in his offensive philosophy and is willing to give it more time before drawing any hard conclusions about its potential.

“We’re gonna stick with what we’re doing,” Canada said Thursday. “That’s not the sexy answer, but we believe we are on the right track.”

...if nothing else it will prove they are right, or, more likely, they are wrong.

im predicting a 6 win season...in 2019 and 2020 a 6 win season got you a pick around 9th or 10th..

I hope that things really improve; if not record-wise at least for some young individual players to give them experience. I have a hard time picturing them dropping below 6 wins because the worst season I ever saw them have was 5 wins in 1988. That being said, the way things feel right now, beyond the Bears and Lions it's hard picking more wins out of this season.

If things continue on this path I'm wondering if they pull a "Pirates" and sell a player or two at the deadline.

This defense looked good for one game so far, and has looked soft since.

You could put any QB in the league back there right now and it'd be the same results. If you can't protect your QB you're not going to have success throwing the ball. The o-line play is abysmal.

Ben makes a good throw to Juju the play before that he isn't in a 3rd and long either. His passing is fucking erratic and sloppy.

True, but I wonder why he's erratic and sloppy? Maybe because he has dudes in his face a half a second after the snap. The o-line has to do better. They are worse than they were last year, which is saying a lot.

Now they're out here getting holding calls because they suck.
