Well this game is pretty much done. Tomlin and crew simply can't overcome a 2 TD deficit.
A ton of mistakes this week by too many people, sloppy tackling, miscommunication, personnel issues, lining up penalties...

We get to hang in the agony now. This is shaping up to be one of the worst offensive performances of the year against a 2-10 team that gives up the 2nd most points in the NFL. It would be great if this were a flukey thing but it is the norm. Canada is gone now so I guess the offense is what it is.

This team stinks and they definitely don't deserve the 7-4 record they've got. The defense is mediocre, they give up chunk plays like it's nothing. The offense is flat out abysmal. They have no depth on the o-line and if we're not running the ball well we're worthless from an offensive standpoint. The system is beyond broken. Canada never should of made it past last season. Pickett could've had an opportunity to learn a new system and instead we are where we are right now. Same system, with different coaches calling the plays. More of the same.
Nothing like being down 17-3 at home against a 2-10 football team. Just makes me sick.

They are literally trying to fumble the ball away to us. And we refuse to fall on it.

Watch, Pickett won't be able to play Thursday, we will have Trubisky, he will suck and we will lose to the Patriots* Thursday. And I shall throw my TV out the window.

Tomlin needs to go. Too many times I've seen this crap now. Getting destroyed at home by a 2-10 team is flat out unacceptable.

well to be fair he does say the standard is the standard. losing to inferior talent has always been the standard.

I'm beginning to think that every time we play a team with a losing record Tomlin takes the team out the night before to celebrate a win because hey...somebody's got to win right.
On top of watching the shit show I had to listen to whoever was calling the game talk constantly about how amazed he was that Tomlin has never had a losing season.
BFD his record against inferior teams should be talked about. Let's talk about how his team comes into these "gimme" games totally unprepared.
There is no reason for very much praise if you look at these factors and include them.

Just one of the many reasons Tomlin will never see another super bowl, ever. I've been saying for years he is a mediocre coach at best .500 is his celling, it's time for change.

Yeah, I had to hit the mute button when they started on that spiel yesterday

Tomlin has gone 13 years since Super Bowl appearance with 3 playoff wins. Noll went 13 years since winning a SB and won 2 playoff games in that time. I was never sure how voluntary Noll's retirement was, but Cowher was hired.

people be like...damn yo look at that easy schedule the rest of the year. we gonna be like 12-5. i was like... being optimistic when it comes to mike tomlin teams only leads to huge disappointments. this game did not surprise me even the slightest bit. in fact i expected it because i'm able to remember things further back than last week. i'm more surprised when they play a fairly good game than when they look like dog shit. why? because the last five years they've looked like dog shit more often than a good team, even when they win.
but hey at least dionte got to celebrate a garbage time TD when they were obviously going to take an L. that REALLY pisses me off when jackasses celebrate while they are getting their asses kicked. it shows us whats really important to them .

Yeah, I NEVER see a schedule set-up that way either. Perhaps others don't realise how terrible we play against lousy teams?
I'd honestly have more confidence playing the Ravens, Bengals, Bills, Lions, and Colts (I'd guess 3-2) as opposed to Cardinals, Patriots*, Browns, Panthers, Commanders (1-4). Its maddening but its the Steelers world we've lived in for a while now.

You are right about that. And I was one of those optimistic about the schedule. For my place it is just dumb hope....I want so badly to see them return to the glory days, so I latch onto any glimmers of hope. Agree on the Johnson celebration too...I guess he got what he wanted out of the day. We have the Pats** next, they were shutout yesterday, maybe just maybe
