people be like...damn yo look at that easy schedule the rest of the year. we gonna be like 12-5. i was like... being optimistic when it comes to mike tomlin teams only leads to huge disappointments. this game did not surprise me even the slightest bit. in fact i expected it because i'm able to remember things further back than last week. i'm more surprised when they play a fairly good game than when they look like dog shit. why? because the last five years they've looked like dog shit more often than a good team, even when they win.
but hey at least dionte got to celebrate a garbage time TD when they were obviously going to take an L. that REALLY pisses me off when jackasses celebrate while they are getting their asses kicked. it shows us whats really important to them .
You are right about that. And I was one of those optimistic about the schedule. For my place it is just dumb hope....I want so badly to see them return to the glory days, so I latch onto any glimmers of hope. Agree on the Johnson celebration too...I guess he got what he wanted out of the day. We have the Pats*** next, they were shutout yesterday, maybe just maybe
I tend to be as optimistic as anyone (to a fault at times I'm sure), But I don't necessarily see the Pats* game as a win. I'm not feeling very confident for Thursday. But I'm having a medical procedure on Thursday so perhaps, I'll still be out of it anyway.

Good luck with your procedure....hope it goes well for you.
And, yeah, that's what I was getting at. For me personally looking at the schedule 3 weeks ago...Burrow went down, Watson also, we had the Cards and Pats* in there too, I was really feeling like we could reel off some wins. We're 1-2 into that stretch of games and now the Pats* don't seem any easier than the Browns 2 weeks ago or the Cards were yesterday

Hey Rando, best of luck with your medical procedure! Pulling for ya, whatever it may be.
I concur regarding the Pats* game though, I can really see us losing this one. Trubisky doesn't inspire confidence and Belicheat will undoubtedly have his team extra ready for us as I don't think he has much love for our team considering our players have called him and his team out for cheating in the past. Even in what's been a very down year for the Pats*, they still give us trouble every single time we play them. I don't see this as being any different.

Thanks Iowa. Shouldn't be anything major, but I may still be high on pain meds, so if I say anything stupid like "Super Bowl!" y'all will understand.
