Does Ryan Clark deserve an apology from the NFL?
You better well believe he does.
Clark was called for a bogus helmet-to-helmet penalty on Victor Cruz on Sunday. Read more at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review › Replays clearly show that it was a perfect shoulder tackle -- dare I say text book?
It has become obvious that Clark has changed the way he plays and has done exactly what the NFL wants defensive players to do and that is not target the head.
But still, he gets called out on something that he's doing right.
The NFL has no problem calling out players when they do wrong. It is about time they applaud them, or in this case, apologize to Ryan Clark ... PUBLICLY.

I think Ben and Lewis also deserve an apology. I'd demand that the refs be fined, but that would result in another first-round pick for the Patriots**.

He probably deserves a back rub and box of chocolates from Goodell too.... two other things he won't be getting. Goodell has made it his personal mission to fuck the Steelers over any way he can because of the rebellious attitudes guys like Clark and Harrison have exhibited towards him and his bullshit rules and fines.
It's pretty funny to see one of his plans blow up in his face like he was Wile E. Coyote though.

I said to my son the bad call was worth it just to see Cruz chicken out on the next ball thrown to him in the middle but yeah Clark should get an apology and why not throw in 10 grand to HIS FAVORITE CHARITY!!!! If the refs were fined and/or suspended for bad calls this game would be epic. It was a real disgrace watching them trying to fix the game.

If Clark isn't fined, the league office obviously realized their mistake and decided not to issue any further punitive action. The REAL story is whether or not they apologize and own up to the mistake. We all KNOW that if Clark isn't fined that THEY know they fucked up, but if they fail to apologize they're COWARDS.
