The Steelers Are NOT Signing Tim Tebow (Or Any Other QB!)

Thought I'd put this here. Most of the visitors here know better, but darn if some of these comments floating around internet weren't driving me nuts!



Stop the insanity: the Steelers aren’t signing another quarterback.

Ben Roethlisberger will be out for 1-2 weeks. With a bye week after this week’s upcoming Cleveland game, that puts Ben on pace to play in the very next game against Seattle. With such a short window, it would be extremely unlikely that Pittsburgh pick up another quarterback. There’s not enough time for another QB to learn a system, when you consider one signed in training camp (Michael Vick) is still learning the system.

But let’s consider some of the dumb rumors floating around:

I don't think the QB depth chart will be changing anytime soon.
