Too bad Shayne Graham still didn't play for the Bengals. 0/2 on FGs.

I thought that was Sweed that made the drop at first, not Lyons.

Sly and Heyward looked impressive on that last drive.

Not sure what to think about Lewis though.

Dixon and Battle were terrible. Absolutely horrible.

That last quarter was just abysmal.

Dixon never should have been on this team, IMO. I think he can be a very good quarterback, but he'll never get the experience he needs here, and it shows.

Yeah, I agree. Looks like Batch is going to have no trouble keeping the 3rd string job. Hopefully he'll get a chance somewhere else.

True...and Batch provides good team leadership as well. He's someone that can help the team beyond playing on the field. It's been talked about for years now, but I think Batch would be a great quarterback coach when the time comes...and I hope it's here in Pittsburgh. Dixon just doesn't have a future here in Pittsburgh. We're doing nothing but holding this kid back.

A couple weeks ago I tihnk i said I wanted Batch just to retire and become QB coach already but with Dixon not looking oh so good it looks like it'll be another year. I really hope he does become the QB coach though.

First preseason game (especially after the lockout), the timing's going to be off. But I'd rather see him overthrow him right now. At least he finally respects Wallace's speed.

Timmons is fine, I guess.

Ike broke his thumb and Clark suffered a stinger. Anyways, with a lot of players getting injured all over the league (what seems like more than usual) I hope the Steelers can survive the rest of the preseason without major injury to any starters.

With Ike out, I can't wait to see more snaps for Lewis, Butler and Brown (when he does play).

Yeah he got some. I saw him on 2 or 3 plays so you can tell how involved he was.

I guess Lewis didn't get a sack either (as I posted above). I thought he had Clemens in the grasp. I guess that's what I get for streaming it.

I'll have to pay attention to Butler ... it would be nice to see him step up this season.

Yeah, that was who I was rooting for going into camp then I heard Lewis had really come along but neither of them really did much... Can't wait to see what Curtis Brown does.

I was going to ask if they threw his way ... but I'm getting ready to watch the game now anyway. I hope we win this time.

O-line still looks a bit sketchy to me. Redman, A. Brown and Heyward looked good. Battle has no business making this team. Dixon may be working his way out as well. It doesn't look good when a guy who thinks he should be starting in the NFL can't handle 4th quarter clean-up duty in the first preseason game. Rough.
