Exactly! Without Brown and with Ben and his weakened arm, this game was ALWAYS going to be about who got the lucky break and it just wasn't us. All in all, considering the injuries throughout the season and a weak Defense early on, I think we did pretty good overall. I'm disappointed, but not defeated. _________________

| Great effort this year despite all the injuries. Sucks that Toussaint couldn't hold onto the damn ball at the worst possible time, but we've got a great team to build upon going into next season. Besides, the way Denver played tonight, they're not beating Brady and the Patriots*. Manning can barely throw the ball 15 yards, and some of those are ugly, wobbly, dead ducks. They've been living off their defense, that's not going to happen against a team that has most of it's weapons healthy.

| If this team drafts well and stays healthy, no-one's going to want to play them next year. _________________ "Windmills do not work that way! GOODNIGHT!"

No W is easy in the NFL, let alone the playoffs. That is the No 1 defense for a reason.

| I'm still proud of Pittsburgh for fighting until the end, but they should have won that game and the fumble screwed it all up. Lot of mistakes to still fix and injury is no excuse. Regardless, we should be a contender for the rest of Ben's career, maybe 3-4 years. Hopefully we win it next year so Silverback goes out on top. _________________ If you expect to play against the Joker, you'd best be prepared to be dealt from the bottom of the deck!

| We should have won but I am proud of the team. I honestly thought we were dead after losing against the Ravens. I hate that it's going to be Brady and Manning again but I think either NFC team can beat them. I also think the defense has a bright future. I also liked what I saw out of Coates tonight. I think in the end our injuries caught up us with us along with a fumble at a terrible time but the D while they played admirably tonight couldn't stop Denver on that ensuing drive. Not mad. Certainly not happy but I feel like I did at the end of 2007, another injury ridden year. Next year could be special. | |

Not only that, but now I can root for Bruce Arians without feeling guilty! _________________

Not only that, but now I can root for Bruce Arians without feeling guilty! I'm rooting for Carolina but I'd be happy if Bruce and the Cards won too.Neither franchise has ever won the SB before and there are players on both Carolina and Arizona I like and respect.

| I can't see anyone topping the Pats*; the Panthers have the best show. I hope I'm wrong, but they seem to be peaking at the right time, and getting healthy again at the right time. | |
