Alright, who are we taking?

I still like Xavien Howard, CB Baylor. Thinking Artie Burns, Howard along with Cockrell would be great. That would give us 3 "taller" (6' +) corners. Howard has a solid build (~200lbs) and plays physical. But I don't think they brought Howard in for a visit and aside from Joe Green, who was looking at Billings, I'm not sure who else attended the Baylor pro day. Maybe the Steelers don't care for this guy.

Or maybe it'll be a big ugly on the defensive line. There's going to be pretty good talent sitting there as well.

Having said all that, they'll probably draft a long snapper in the 2nd just to make fools of all of us. 2016 Draft Round 2 Mega Thread 1797695198

Another CB isn't happening. They picked Golson & Grant last year, Burns this year and got Cockrell on waivers.

Its wide open for D line, Safety, OLB, O line, even ILB since Timmons is in his 10th season and last year of contract.

I'm hoping for any of Vonn Bell, Maliek Collins or Noah Spence in the 2nd. (actually thinking of 3 other guys, because the Steelers never draft the player I mention. 2016 Draft Round 2 Mega Thread 1797695198 )

Agree, I think we already have a lot of youth at CB right now.. Unless someone slips in the 2nd round that we absolutely can't pass on, the pick won't be a CB

Sounds about right to me. I'm hearing we shouldn't be shocked if they take a WR. I just don't see it though. We brought so many defensive guys in. I think we get a QB or WR late but tomorrow rather than today.

kind of thinking along the same lines. As weak as they are along the position it wouldn't surprise me to see another CB and likely a S, but they likely thinking about DL too. Maybe 2 of 3 of those tonight.

I know it is very very unlikely the steelers trade up in the 2nd.....but how many spots could they move up offering up next years 3rd round pick.... 5-7 spots???

Anyways....for round two...lets hope they come away with some much needed quality reinforcements for Tuitt and heyward

And pray for a run on quarterbacks

Cowboys trying to acquire No. 32 from the Browns

By Marc Sessler
Around the NFL Writer
Published: April 29, 2016

Cleveland's Sashi Brown isn't done surging up, down, left and right across the landscape of this year's seven-round NFL draft.

Armed with the top pick in Round 2, the Browns' vice president of football operations is listening to offers for yet another trade.

The latest interested party? The Cowboys, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, who reported Friday that Dallas is likely targeting a pass rusher if they move up to No. 32.

That makes plenty of sense after the 'Boys, from a distance, initially appeared downtrodden in their draft war room when Ohio State's Joey Bosa went to the Chargers at No. 3 overall. Dallas quickly rebounded -- with smiles -- to take another Buckeye in running back Ezekiel Elliott, but pass rusher remains a burning need.

With Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence both facing suspensions, look for Big D to address the spot early in the second round. Names like Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence or Clemson's Kevin Dodd make sense for Super Bowl-starved owner and general manager Jerry Jones.

As for the Browns, Cleveland's trade-down machine has thrust this unique front office in an enviable position for the rest of this draft -- and the next two offseasons.

Along with another 11 draft picks this year -- and wideout Corey Coleman -- the team has accrued a first-rounder, a third-rounder and two fourths in 2017, along with an extra second-rounder in 2018.

The bounty of picks gives the Browns incredible long-term flexibility and increased chances of hitting on players. Cleveland is building for tomorrow, while the Cowboys -- with a 36-year-old Tony Romo at the helm -- hope to load up for a Super Bowl run today.

If this trade goes down, it will serve as a real-time study between two teams operating in very different ways.
