It would be a good security move. Have him in the wings letting Canada know he better produce and produce quickly.
Plus Leftwich would know the system and terminology we use and could tailor things for his game with Kenny and crew in mind.

I don't know. There would have been a time that I would swap out Canada for Leftwich immediately - but I'm not so sure anymore. A friend of mine is a Bucs fan and he says the play calling has been atrocious.
But the hire wouldn't surprise me, if we have an opening on the staff.

The Tampa Offense had tons of injuries this year. Last year he had them at #2 in scoring. That is way better then a lot of OCs.

When you're the OC for Brady, its really not an indication of your abilities since, to your point Eff, Brady is calling whatever he wants.
