known as Heinz Field since it opened. Some uproar occurred after Heinz material, including two giant ketchup bottles, were removed from the stadium, but eventually the Steelers, Acrisure and Kraft Heinz worked out a solution to keep at least one of the bottles at the stadium and preserve the Heinz Red Zone announcement when the Steelers are within the opponents’ 20-yard line.
“I don’t have any problems with the ketchup bottles,” Williams said. “Any mention of the ketchup bottles with the Acrisure name attached, good or bad, was good with me. If it is a good thing for the Steelers, it is good for us.”
That was good optics by Acrisure .... Acrisure "We can't have the fans upset, it's ok Kraft Heinz give the Steelers even more millions of dollars for your ketchup and ketchup bottle advertisement in the staduim".
Personally I'm glad they kept a Heinz ketcup bottle and the red zone and all the jazz, some history.
Since Heinz in now Kraft and moved can't blame the Steelers taking the money from a company that seems to want to be in Pittsburgh.
Got a new name on Heinz Field but still got some Heinz history in the staduim.
Now if Art Rooney II can put a really good Playoff / Superbowl contending team back in Pittsburgh these 2 corporations could get a good return on their advertising dollars spent.
At least to me it's
