Big Ben Intent on playing in Pro-Bowl

It seems that Ben is intent on playing in the Pro-Bowl, despite his ankle.

no one rushes or blitzes you, you play a few plays and get a free vaction. I'd be there.

no one rushes or blitzes you, you play a few plays and get a free vaction. I'd be there.

It'll probably be the longest PB ever. Ben will extend each play by 2 minutes and still throw it long.

Can't blame him for loving a guy that got rid of the ground attack, so the team has to lean on the pass. When the running game gets rolling we go back to the pass anyways. What's not to love if your a quarterback?

This is just my opinion, but I don't think Ben would be happy running the type of offense we did under Cowher. I think he wants to be spoken in the same sentence as Brees, Rodgers, Manning, and Brady. The problem is that he isn't as good as those QBs. He doesn't have the same skill set. He loves Arians because Arians lets him do what he wants to do. Hell, who among us WOULDN'T want to be in a situation where we were allowed to do what we wanted to do? But sometimes that's not what's best for us. Or in this case ... the team.

When Ben runs the offense, the offense moves the chains. Surely this is indicative of something more than Ben liking Arians because he lets him "do what he wants to". Besides, that is extremely presumptious to think that Ben defends Arians primarily because of that reason.

Why are we better suited to be a passing team with Ben? He's not as accurate as the elite QBs, he doesn't read defenses as well, and he doesn't make quick decisions. I'm not saying that I don't like Ben. I just don't think we can run our offense while pretending we have Aaron Rodgers taking the snaps.
