Steelers get torched; 10-point, fourth-quarter lead vanishes as time runs out

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Steelers and Raiders played one for the ages Sunday, brutal contact football that would do their 1970s ancestors proud.

Yet, Oakland's furious 34-31 comeback victory at O.co Coliseum was nothing like the kind of football in which the Steelers have been accustomed, not in the '70s, not in the '80s, '90s, never. This was new-age football for the Steelers with their offense whipping up and down the field nearly at will and their defense getting whipped up and down the field by a mediocre Oakland offense.

run more of the big with Woodley as a DE instead of a OLB, use Hood and McLendon as DT's, and Hayward as the other DE. Timmons Strong side linebacker, Foote MLB, and fill in the blank who could be the weak side linebacker.
